"After trying another pub in a nearby town first and finding it unwelcoming, we tried Balhannah and so glad we did. It was warm and inviting, open and friendly. Service was attentive and kind. Food was delicious. I had the Gnocchi with pine nuts and my partner the Butcher’s cut. Fabulous."

"Went there on a Saturday night. Full table service. Meals were cooked excellent and of good quality, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. My steak was a lovely thick cut cooked perfect medium rare. Ambience was nice and it was cozy. They have great daily specials. Would reccommend their home made sticky date for desert. Was delectable and decadent. 10/10."

"Was a wet, cold Saturday we visited the hotel. I had booked in advance earlier in the week, unsure if it was going to be busy or not. The booking portal was easy to manage. I was hoping for something light, and my sister and I shared 3 entrees. We both had the potato skins, they were delicious and came with a light cheese sauce. The bacon was tasty and well cooked. We also chose the arancini balls, 3 to the serve, a little bit bigger than golf balls. Golden brown and full of mushroomy goodness. Finally, we chose the halloumi and fig salad. The halloumi was deliciously squeaky and was dressed in a sweet sauce that complimented the salty goodness. Mr. had a beef snitzel that he enjoyed, tender and moist with a creamy mushroom sauce. Mum had the fish and chips, and she was very pleased with her choice. Service was attentive, and the meals came out quickly. If I could fault anything world just be, it was cool in the dining room, and there was no open fire. I felt it was all that was missing on an otherwise lovely afternoon in the hills."

"Have not visited this hotel for a couple of years and since the new owners have taken over management. There has been some remodeling and noticed the Pokies room has been moved from one side of the restaurant to the other. The dinning area appeared more spacious with a fresh feel. We visited on a Tuesday night and on arrival the restaurant was quite busy. We had booked and was shown to our table. After about 10 minutes they returned to take our order. We got an awesome week night special of a burger and a drink for $15. We ordered these thinking they would be smaller than their usual burgers on the menu and thought it would take forever as the restaurant was so busy. How wrong were we! Our meal was delivered to our table reasonably quickly and the burgers were huge. You will need two hands to handle these and they were absolutely delicious and came with the lot. They were served with a generous amount of crispy chips. I can not rate these burgers high enough and for $15 with a drink. Best value around. I recommend the Balhannah Hotel and their fantastic burger deal. I will 100% be visiting again here again soon."
