"VERY disappointed they stopped the knife sharpening service. Please bring it back!!! It brought me to you shop and I always ended up buying more stuff!! Service is always excellent though."
"went to looking for quality knife set for gift, outstanding no-pressure service, excellent advice, prices comparable or better than online."
"I have been thinking about buying a set of Japanese knives for a long time. Came in today and the gentleman was so helpful and honest with me. Very happy!"
"I bought the wrong scales and needed to return them by mail. The young female staff member was so helpful, knew exactly what she was talking about, and the refund went through as promised. If only shopping was always this easy. They have a great range and I love the Japanese knife I bought there. I recommend this store!"
"Visited about 12 months ago, to buy a few hundred dollars worth of equipment, asked if they did a trade discount for chefs, was told they only did trade discount for restaurant owners. Way to look after the little people. I took my shopping online and saved about 40% on what it would have cost me here, and free shipping. 1 star, will not return, and make a point of telling other chefs not to either. The funny thing is a 10% trade discount would have made a return customer. Also after reading the reviews here, and seeing the owners response to Deepa below about not price matching online prices, not only was it highly rude and unprofessional, but here's some news: other hospitality stores in Canberra do match online prices, and give trade discount to chefs; moreover FYI to the owners, the reason people use this platform to complain about you is because you signed up for the Google review platform .. only for the positive reviews? Lol."
