About the Business
Welcome to Busy Bees at Crace, a premier establishment and point of interest in the heart of the community. Located at 44 Hillcrest Street in Crace, Australia, our school is conveniently situated near the Crace Central shopping complex, parks, and residential areas.
Designed by architects, our building features light-filled classrooms and natural ventilation, ensuring the comfort of children throughout the year. The spacious open plan rooms, dynamic playgrounds, and quiet areas for small group play create a stimulating and relaxed environment where every child feels confident to play, learn, and discover new things.
At Busy Bees at Crace, our qualified and friendly Educators prioritize creating positive, supportive, and respectful relationships with children. We understand the critical importance of the first five years of a child's education, and we nurture them through this crucial period. Our philosophy emphasizes uninterrupted playtime, freedom, a calm environment, cooperative relationships, and our undivided attention.
We also have a strong focus on sustainability and environmental education. Our center teaches children the importance of recycling, conserving water, and caring for the environment. Children frequently incorporate recycled materials in their play and water our gardens using water from our water tank.
Preparing children for the transition to school is a priority for us. Our Transition to School Program is led by a qualified Early Childhood Teacher who focuses on developing children's independence, self-care skills, and sense of routine to prepare them for a formal classroom environment.
As the Service Manager at Busy Bees at Crace, I, Tim Cantrill, bring over 15 years of experience in the Early Education and Care industry. Becoming a father in 2015 gave me a fresh perspective on the role of an Educator and better equipped me to guide the center as a Service Manager. I strongly believe in outdoor education and the importance of listening to each child's needs for their ongoing development.
I am joined by Amber, the Assistant Service Manager, who has been in the Early Childhood sector for 10 years. Amber was previously a Centre Director in Sydney and joined Busy Bees at Crace in February 2023 with her daughter Florence. In her free time, Amber enjoys gardening, exploring nature, camping, and 4WD-ing.
We are proud to hear from parents that the learning at Busy Bees at Crace has positively impacted their children's daily lives. Many have noticed that their children have achieved milestones earlier than expected, and they love coming to the center and fully enjoying their time as explorers.

"Evie settled in so quickly at Busy Bees, and I believe it's due to the wonderful educators, small class sizes and gorgeous surroundings. I feel so lucky to have found Busy Bees for Evie. I'm sure it will continue to give her an incredibly positive start to her education."
"a fantastic daycare that has taken great care of our son. they are always running activities and the centre is very safe and welcoming. thanks team for all of your efforts"
"Busy Bees Crace has been a platform for my son who has immensely supported my son's learning milestones. The staffs have been providing their best to provide quality care and I wouldn't be able to get that satisfaction from any other care. The staffs are very approachable and always has been valuing my child's believe and thoughts towards learning. The learning that has taken place in the care has positively impacted on his daily life. Both me and my husband are very happy that effective learning has been taking place. I have been noticing recently that after attending Busy Bees at Crace, he has achieved his milestone much earlier than his expected age would achieve. He loves coming to the Care and fully enjoys being an explorer."
"STAY AWAY! It was a great center before until director and most of the staff changed. -Mess management -Charging wrong amount (parents please check your statement !!!!!!!) (my refund took more than 3month to proceed! With no update , with no reply email! , even complaint to head office with the same situation, no reply) -never solved problem, complaints to reception, reception blame the manager, complaint to manager, manager blame the head office! What a funny circle! -they only interested in your payment every week."
