"My ride on had a number of issues. Lenny, the mechanic, very cleverly found a solution I could afford. This sort of service is not common these days. I appreciate the thought that went behind the solution. Thanks Lenny."
"Brilliant experience when shopping for my first ever cordless lawnmower. Left with a new Husqvarna and just used for the first time - and it is so good, three lawns that used to take over half an hour all done in half the time and I still have charge in the battery to spare. And the best thing is that I don't need to fumble with my ancient petrol mower anymore. It is an absolute joy to use, gives s great finish and my only regret is not doing it sooner. If you are in Canberra, this is the mower shop to go to!"
"came in to get a new pull start retract spring for a rover and a couple other parts for a old victor. They not only located the spring but also fitted it to the assembly. Had the parts for what I think is a 1980's victor (everyones dad had one). Friendly and great service. Dont know his name but the guy who served me had a goatee."
"So refreshing!! It is hard to find a place like this. They are so knowledgeable and tell you just as it is and no bull. Tom has provided me with a Husqvarna mower, Strimmer and leaf blower- and they are top quality products. The customer service at Canberra Mower Centre is second to none. I give 6 out of 5 stars!"
"Everyone makes mistakes. Holidays interrupt business and Covid has made all edgy. However, when a customer brings you evidence that the lawnmower you have “repaired” is no longer the lawnmower that the customer dropped off, then there is a problem. Around Christmas I brought in a lawnmower to have two very small items be repaired; replace the broken pull cord and replace the broken primer button. Two small repairs, nothing more. Estimated time 4 weeks. I picked up the lawnmower on 27/1 and there was a problem. Please see photos. Without going into all the details. The mower “lost” its cowl, instead of just replacing the pull cord the 10 year old pull cover was also removed and replaced with a pull cover that is even older than my lawnmower and which has not been properly installed , missing screws and bolts, a “new” throttle has been installed (why)? and something is not right with the exhaust. I brought in the manuals for the lawnmower to show the head of the office and his head of the shop. The manuals show what was missing and what the engine should look like. This only made them angry and did not resolve my concerns. They returned my money and now I am only out one cowl, have even older parts on an old machine which I will have to repair anyway. If you carefully look at the photos you will see that the oil dip stick location is this different on machines that have a cowl, like mine. Photos attached you can decide for yourself if this is quality work."
