"Stopped off here to have tea and coffee not to shop. Lovely service and great coffee and tea."
"My favorite homewares store. Just picked up a danish hand woven rug, bright pink cushions, a dove doorstop and a racy tissue box…so excited oh not to mention the toasty puffer jacket"
"Such a disappointing experience. I payed 165 per ticket for the cooking class as a gift and they had such a poor experience. They were serviced two dumplings (gyoza) for an entree, some steamed fish which was dry and a brownie for dessert. The people on their table walked out and booked dinner next door because they were still hungry. This is the second class I have done here where the standards have really slipped. The last class I did started at 6.30 and we weren't served our entree until 8.30. The most disappointing aspect of this is that OOT have been indignant in taking our feedback on board - very poor customer service. I have done a lot of their classes and a lot cooking classes elsewhere and the value here is not to standard. There are so many better classes available in Adelaide where both the standard and customer service are top notch."
"Well I went in here to kill time, as I was a wee bit early for my appointment. If your on a strict budget or finacially challenged, this isn't the shop for you as its pretty expensive. They do have some nice things, but you can more than likely find it cheaper elsewhere. I gave them the extra star for the fact none of the sales assistants didnt come & ask if I needed any help as soon as I entered the shop, but not once did they come to ask if I needed any help finding anything while I was browsing & no they weren't busy at all, it was pretty quiet. There was only 2 other people in the store also browsing."
"Just wanted to warn others about this overpriced, mismanaged business on The Parade in Norwood. Pretty much everything they are selling you can buy at least 30% cheaper elsewhere. The worst part though is that they advertise cooking classes for $145 and nowhere on their website does it say that THESE ARE NOT ACTUALLY COOKING CLASSES WHERE YOU GET TO COOK! All you do is sit and watch someone else cook and then eat the food. Everyone is crowded into a tiny space and each child sized table has 5 people crammed around it. It's uncomfortable to say the least and the room is freezing unless they have the heater on which is a single heater placed in the middle of the ceiling and if you are unlucky enough to be sitting under it your head gets burnt. Don't bother buying a gift certificate either because even though nowhere does it state that you can't use it for cooking classes or online purchases they will not allow you to use it for either of these things and even though my gift certificate was only issued in February 2018 and was only valid until June 2018 when I requested for it to be extended for a few months the owner refused. Oh and forget talking to the young girls who work there if there is a discrepancy with pricing or anything other than purchasing an item... they are lovely and very helpful, but when it comes to any decision making their hands are tied as they have to check with the manager who is also useless in this area because she doesn't have the ability to make any decisions either without talking to the owner who has clearly always lived with a silver spoon in her mouth and is so far removed from the reality most of us live in that she doesn't know what good customer service is. Buy from here at your own risk... every single time you will pretty much see the item you have bought elsewhere for much, much cheaper."
