"This was no bottleshop. This was a well oiled war machine. I got screwed by another sister store with a click and collect so this was my next option. Placed the order and was there 10 minutes later. I pulled my own stock with the assistance of another staff member. Got to the counter and my order was already there. The 4 ppl working NYE should be commended for their work ethic and customer service. Thank you, Firle LL."
"Not great service. Things that are supposed to be there (especially for click and collect' aren't there. So then you have to wait (they say 1-3 days) for the refund but it takes longer especially when they don't do it properly and you have to ring up a number of times. And the guy we delt with took no responsibility for a thing! Extremely bad customer service. Better to go all the way back to where I used to go just because a) they get things right b) the service is so much better. You should work on these things"
"The law is that under 18's can consume alcohol at home with parental supervision. After my husband (60) & daughter (17) selected drinks for a party we were having, they were not able to buy them because.... "we saw you selecting drinks for a minor". My husband explained that he needed help carrying all the drinks because we were having a family celebration. The female who worked at Firle on 2.7.21 (J---) seemed to enjoy the humiliation & shock that she caused. She asked her male assistant "that's how it works right" He nodded and she threw a nasal "Absolutely" at them as they left without any drinks. So throw in public humiliation onto our list of grievances. I later called her & she said she was the Manager which I doubt because if she was, she wouldn't need to check the rules. This person should not be in customer service. Our family were shocked by the rudeness & lack of care that she displayed. We will never go back there.... never, after decades of loyal business. Please see previous bad review in past, same thing."
