Reviews
"Great place to escape the business of the city! The model of Sydney Harbour under the glass floor as you enter is stunning, and it's great being able to read about the history of this old building too. The library is quiet and quaint, and a nice place to just sit and read a book or simply to relax. Wonderful place to regain some energy before heading back out into the hustle bustle!"
"A beautiful old building. I particularly love the model of Sydney under the glass floor inside. Well worth a look and great for showing kids where things are."
"Library on the lower floors and restaurants on the upper floors is Customs House. There is a scale model of 10 square kilometres of Sydney on the glass floors on the ground level. During Vivid the light display was spectacular!!"
"Right on the heart of Sydney, great place to relax and enjoy a drink or fabulous meal, we loved it ❣️"
"Old customs tax building repurposed as a library. Wonderful architecture, but modified to some extent indoors. Ground floor has model of Sydney, viewed from above. Go to first storey to see the war (WW1 & WW2) memorials on the north wall to those who served and those who died. The WW1 plaque is an especially worthy acknowledgement of sacrifice."
