"Charming self-contained cottage in a great location with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We stayed during arctic chilly weather and found the cottage very warm, cosy, and peaceful. Very clean and tidy accommodation, the bed was warm and comfortable (with a soft mattress) with extra blankets available, lovely hot shower has excellent pressure, washing machine is easy to use and clothes dry overnight in the lounge room from the air conditioning. This was perfect for two adults (and one fur-child) for five-nights. The owners are easy to communicate with and respond quickly to our questions. Places we recommend to visit with your fur-buddy (other than cellar doors): 1918 Bistro, Ministry of Beer, Rehn Bier, Applewood Distillery, Greenock Brewers, Darlings Cafe for great coffee and pastries."
"We have nothing but positive things to say about this little place. Such a great find! We felt right at home, spending a comfortable three nights here. Michael was fantastic, walking us through the home and how to use the spa facility on site on arrival. He came back to check if we had enough breakfast on the 2nd day which I thought was very nice. We had a small gift on arrival, some chocolates and biscuits/preztle as treats and a bottle of ports. Breakfast was a treat! We were provided with bacon, eggs, tomatoes, Hashbrowns, OJs and Milk and the list goes on... Whilst we didn't didn't a lot of time at the venue, we really appreciate coming back to it every night. Thanks Michael and Carole! We love the little touches you added as it made a big difference. Smiles all round from the family."
