"Nice restaurant and interior. Good service from staff. The house special dish of rice, chicken, and prawns was cooked perfectly and very tasty. My friend and I completely enjoyed it. Roti was also served, freshly cooked, flaky, crisp and buttery."
"Had been having N04 (Char Kway Teow) and never had it with so much oil.I had to tip the plate a bit before taking the rest for take away.Taste wasnt the same too. I need to find another Char Kway spot."
"15/07/23 Ordered the Hokkien Beef Hofun, taste was fine but the portion was very tiny compared to the normal portions offered here. Nearly 1/2 the size. The sauce was not dark as Hokkien style is generally dark in colour. Was absolutely disappointed & left feeling hungry.. They might’ve run out of ingredients as it was very busy but might as well not serve it if it’s not up to standards. $17.90 for a kid’s portion. Refer to last photo. Edited review: Went back on the 13/04/23 with my kids. Food was yummy & tasted yummy. Only comment I’ll make it Nasi Kunyit is suppose to be glutinous rice & drinks were lukewarm not hot when served. Service was friendly & didn’t have to wait long to be served. Was craving for a Cham ice aka coffee & tea mix with ice. Ordered it in a takeaway cup, didn’t have to wait too long, waitress & waiter working on Easter Sunday were friendly & accomodating. Price is fair for quality of drink and done right!"
"We experienced a high quality dining experience at PappaRich Canberra Centre store. Dishes ordered were roti with sauces, chicken satay skewers, special nasi kunyit with fried chicken sambal prawns & sambal eggplant. The meals are authentic Malaysian dishes and tasted delicious, especially that rice dish with the eggplant as I had not tried thst before. The skewers and roti are usual dishes and are a great for entree/sides. Compared to other Pappa Rich restaurants in Sydney where I've been this was actually better and it is evident that it's one of the busiest restaurants on a rainy Sunday afternoon. The drinks: lychee mint lemonade, lychee grass jelly and milo chocolate drink were delicious and well presented which complimented the meal well. Usually people struggle to find good Asian restaurants in Canberra due to a smaller population and smaller market, but this one is an exception. I would highly recommend you visit and try if you haven't already done so. Regards @fooderarri"
"PappaRich excels at their chosen style of food - quick, well-priced, and tasty Malaysian food. The menu is expansive and I love all the beverage options. The restaurant is bustling with noise and the ordering beep going off but it adds to the atmosphere. I feel like I’m in Asia whenever I dine here."
