"Do not recommend! Unreliable, unprofessional and rude.Booked in for 1pm, after 1pm we were told about two hours behind, promised they would come later, never showed up. The person who answers the phone had zero customer service training basically said “I just answer the phone it’s not my fault”. Wish I’d read some of the other poor reviews sooner, if you need a removalist I wouldn’t take a chance on this business. The “management” don’t seem to know how to schedule jobs properly or communicate honestly."
"DO NOT USE THIS REMOVALIST COMPANY. They are the most unprofessional company I have ever encountered. They damaged $3k worth of my furniture, and despite telling me on the day that everything would be paid for, they then blocked my number and stopped returning my emails. They then went on to block my husbands number. They should not be in business. The Removalist’s themselves were inexperienced and couldn’t even get a fridge up 4 steps. It was the slowest, most frustrating move I have ever experienced. After 8 hours, when the job should have been finished (but they weren’t even half way!!), and so much damage had been done, I asked them to leave and arranged another removalist to complete the job. An absolute disaster. Please do not book any business with them, you will live to regret it if you do."

"DO NOT BOOK THIS SERVICE. THEY RIP YOU OFF. I was quoted on the phone for 2 small trucks at 199 an hour. One for myself, one a week later for my son. I was charged for a large truck and my son for a medium truck. When I queried this I was told they had recorded my enquiry phone call and I had been quoted 240 for a large truck. Not true. Also, if they are recording phone calls without a customer's knowledge they are ilegally breaching the telecommunications act. I described both my own and my sons moving needs and was assured that a small truck for each of us would be fine. They were an hour late for my move, almost 4 for my sons. They have an on time guarantee on their website and if they not on time they should not charge you the call out fee of one hour. Both my son and I were charged this despite them being late to both moves. In my complaints about being overcharged, in which I have said I feel I have choice but to report to and fair trading and ACCC I have been accused of bein rude and told I was undercharged. I was overcharged. They are refusing to acknowledge any fault here, insisting I booked a large truck. So they are also lying in order to not refund money. I had two single disability beds, 2 desks, a few books shelves, 2cat trees, a small outdoor table and chairs and boxes of belongings. I was charged for a large truck. My son literally had a single bed, 2 desks, a bedside table and a few boxes. We also booked a small truck for him. He was charged for a medium truck Rude and belligerent is my description of the office staff I have communicated with via email. However I will state that the movers themselves were quite pleasant."
"Virgil Removals were booked for 9am to move my belongings. That morning I got a text saying they would need to come at 1pm. They turned up at 8pm. I tried calling the 1300 number several times throughout the day as the guy allocated to moving me was in the middle of a job and hard to reach. They did not answer their phone at all, I also emailed them urgently and received no response. The actual guys who moved me were fantastic and were very dedicated and careful with my belongings despite working a very long day. But the service from the main company was very unprofessional, unresponsive and rude. I I tried to follow up after y move to report my complaint directly to them and have had no response."
