"The vet told me to not worry about cutting my dogs nails until they turn sideways. I considered this very poor advice. Some weeks laterI took her back to the vet to get the nails cut. I was told she probably has arthritus, based upon her free movement I didnt think so based upon my observation of her free movement, but I repeated my request to cut the nails. I'll check her for arthritus as well she said. returning my dog she said she had to do the test twice before she got a 'crack'. I detected a little bit of' I told you so' in her look, I paid for the new box of expensive arthritus pills to be taken for life. It was obvious my dog was in pain and she growled at any one approaching her at the vets front door. She never growls at people. I took her home and found she could only walk on 3 legs, front right was collapsing under her. Four days later no improvement, I took her back. The business owner came out, took me aside and proceeded to rubbish my dog breed in general, rubbish the breeder, told me I was in for trouble being a single person with this type of dog, said she was difficult [never mentioned before], and told me to get my own set of clippers. Its now over 10 days and my dog is still limping. You can bet on one thing, I wont be using your clippers mate."
