"On Thursday the 12 of July at 9,20 in the morning, you had two staff members on the checkout and neither of them could do a refund, One staff member told us the lady that can do it had gone upstairs or some where, so we waited around for ten minuets and still no sign of the staff member, so we left by that time there was another person waiting, and once again the staff on duty could not help him. To me this is poor management of staff."
"Woolworth is close by. The staff are friendly and help you if you can't find something. They stock a great variety of products, and the delli always has lots of supply's of meats and cheeses. Also, the package meats are good value."
"Look after David in customer service. He’s your best asset in front of house. Thanks your humour efficiency and politeness David."
"There are no wheelchair accessible exists that you are allowed to use. The only exists are through the checkouts which are too narrow for anyone in a wheelchair to safely pass customers with shopping carts. Checkouts have shopping carts in them. That's expected, it's normal. The carts aren't neatly pulled tightly to the edges. That's expected and normal. To expect the checkouts to be any other way would be completely unreasonable. Able bodied people can walk past the customers and their carts but wheelchairs can't. Management clearly chose to open the lowest number of checkouts to keep lines as long as they possibly can be and they can save a bit of extra money not hiring people to staff the tills. That's a decision they made which means it's now impossible to exit via the checkouts. You can't get out the way you got in because they installed those little paddle gates that automatically open let customers in but only able bodied people can get around them to get out. The only way you can get out is if you go in the bottle shop and out that door. But you're not allowed out that way. That's policy and a decision management made and are responsible for. So you go in wanting cat food. The only brand your cat will eat is on the top shelf so it's only available to customers who don't use wheelchairs. You can't buy the thing you came into the store to get. You try and leave the store. Pace up and down the front looking for a safe way to exist that doesn't involve crashing into people and shopping carts and crashing shopping carts into people. Realise the only way out is through the bottle shop. Then get told by some young lady who's just trying to do her job that store policy means you're not allowed to leave through the only safe exit. There are so many ways and places they could have considered the need for wheelchairs to leave but at every single opportunity they chose to do the opposite. They could have left the enterence open but chose not no. They could have hired enough staff to keep the checkouts clear but chose not to. They could have let people leave via the only free and open door but chose not to. At every step they chose to allow wheelchairs to enter but not to leave."
