"I would of left no stars if there was that option. This place makes worst coffee I have ever had. I think she is the owner, not sure, but she was extremely rude. The place was dirty and is need of a make over. Do yourself a favour - don’t waste your money going there!"

"Came in this morning for the first time and my initial reaction was shocked at how nicely presented and beautifully decorated the cafe was! Unfortunately, the service while ordering my coffee was pretty ordinary. To top it all off, as I was leaving, I took a few photos of the decor to post to my social media (actually recommending people to come here) to showcase how nice it was there. A woman, who may have been the owner I’m not sure, immediately told me to not take photos and to not have staff in the photos (which I totally respect and would never put anyone in my photos without their consent). She said it in such a rude manner and genuinely took me by surprise. No one was in any of the photos I took and I responded to her saying I was only taking pictures because of how pretty it was. I have worked in cafes for 8 years and could never imagine speaking to a customer like that for simply admiring my cafe. This is the first review I’ve ever made for anywhere because I usually don’t care but this was genuinely so rude. Really disappointing because it’s such a nice place :/"

"Cap'n Joe has become our new favourite every weekend. What a hidden gem! Probably the best bang for your bucks Big Brekky we've had. Best hash browns too, crunchy, aromatic, just delicious. And the selection of lovely pastries - their walnut pie is a must try! I'm rather picky about coffee but couldn't fault their coffee at all. It was consistently amazing. Staff were all very friendly and warm. Atmosphere was unique. We just love the little library and the greens."

"We stopped in here after visiting family in the hospital and good grief... We haven't had coffee that delicious in a LONG time! The owners were absolutely delightful as well. Definitely stop in here if you're looking for a good coffee."

"Don't waste your money. My friend and I tried this place for breakfast and it was terrible. Everything was tasteless, food quality was poor, not fresh, badly made, and over priced at $60. Stale eggs gave us both indigestion. The staff claimed the eggs are "free range" but they either weren't or were not fresh. They gave us frozen supermarket hash browns! Good quality fresh food has zest and life in it. But these meals had nothing of the sort."
