"i know the man that broke the basketball ring in the top left of the school, i personally sorted it up by giving him a swift round house kick to the face then a personally choking out his brother who was complacent in the cover up of the broken rim. no need to call me a hero but i will take a cash reward"
"Poor management. Kiss and drop zone is a joke. traffic at pickup time on the koonga Avenue is banked up in the ' no stopping zone'. This area should allow stopping for parents to pick up their children. Campbelltown council is out of date here and an review is urgently required . Most of the younger teachers are very caring and want to improve education quality at Stradbroke. They deserve 5 stars. Parents volunteer their time to help with sports but the administration lacks support to facilitate kids sports which is pathetic. There is funding for the sports activities but its not going to the kids sports. It is a big school with a lot of staff but it seems that the long time serving staff members are only there to protect their retirement entitlements and wipe their hands of any responsibility. This school is a perfect example of wasted public funding. John Gardiner, you should be ashamed of yourself for avoiding these issues and failing to improve Stradbroke School."
"This school is amazing! As from a student that has been here for over 8 years I really enjoy it. The teachers are amazing, kind and simpathetic while preparing the students for high school. They care about each and every student and listen to the children for their best interest. Everything is well taken care of and all staff are aprochable. The school has a zero tolarance policy towards violence / bullies. It also hase many opportunities such as leadership rolls, lunchtime clubs and extra curicular help for all students. I could not ask for a better school."
"What I’d suggest as maybe a little harsh but constructive criticisms: The principal must learn to humble herself and realise in order for one to act like/be respected as a headmistress, one must have a firm control over their school and their students within the school and be able converse with both students and parents (less fortunate or not) in an equal and respectable manner. Have a talk to teachers and explain a bad temper, inappropriate jokes and other things of that nature do not fit within/should be left out of the classroom. While I understand every teacher has “their way” of teaching there are some things that just don’t fit within the classroom environment. The children be taught that beating up each other, exchanging obscenities and just being rude/bullies is not tolerated under any circumstance and that there’s serious consequences for such behaviour. And lastly, keep a better watch over the school premises and put more than one or two teachers on duty, because they only have two sets of eyes between them and can’t keep any eye on everything that’s going on, especially when you take into consideration the overall size of the land."
"Very fine school, situated in a pleasant area, with top facilities, the most supportive parents, and lovely, hardworking students. My 20 years teaching there were a highlight of my career, a time when I made so many wonderful, and lasting, friends. I would remind today's pupils and teachers that they have a very high standard to maintain."
