Welcome to Golden Grove High School!

Located in the beautiful suburb of Golden Grove in South Australia, our institution provides a caring and engaging learning environment, delivering outstanding educational services. Established in 1989, Golden Grove High School boasts exceptional facilities and a wide range of curriculum opportunities for students from Year 8 to 12 (Year 7 to 12 from 2022). In 2022, we will proudly open all of the buildings from our $15.5 million Capital Works project. This includes the state-of-the-art 2-storey Middle School Building for Year 7 and 8 students, the impressive Performing Arts Centre for Dance and Drama, and the Year 12 Study Centre.

Our commitment is to provide challenging, dynamic, and relevant curriculum that promotes lifelong learning and fosters responsible, resilient, independent critical thinkers and learners who act ethically and confidently in their personal, career, and community life. We believe that wellbeing is essential for effective learning, and it is deeply embedded in both our pastoral and academic learning programs.

Golden Grove High School is a proud member of the Golden Grove Secondary School Campus, a consortium of three schools, both public and private. Our partners in this endeavor are Gleeson College and Pedare Christian College. While each school operates independently, we collaborate and share the Campus "Shared Facilities," offering students in Year 11 and Year 12 access to an extensive range of SACE subjects and VET courses.

As a "Centre of Excellence" in the Arts, Golden Grove High School offers a special interest Dance program, with students gaining entry through an application, audition, and interview process. We also have a rich sporting history, with numerous state-level competition wins over the years. In addition, we offer special interest sport programs in Touch Football and AFL for Girls, with places in these programs being offered through selection trials conducted in our feeder primary schools.

For students with academic gifts and talents, we provide the Excel program, catering to their specific needs. We also offer a variety of lunchtime clubs for students to pursue their passions and interests alongside like-minded peers.
