Welcome to YMCA OSHC - Adelaide North Special School! Located in Munno Para on Douglas Drive, our institution is a point of interest for families seeking quality school holiday care for children aged 5 to 17 years with intellectual disabilities.

At YMCA Adelaide North OSHC, we pride ourselves on offering a wide range of supervised, fun-filled activities both on site and through excursions and incursions. Our program runs from 8am to 6pm during school holidays, providing a safe and stimulating environment for your child.

As a community-based not-for-profit organization, the Y is recognized as a leading provider of OSHC services in South Australia. Our team of high quality, experienced, and passionate Educators actively contribute to the quality of OSHC programming, ensuring an enjoyable experience for all students. Under the guidance of our OSHC Director, our Educators create an environment that challenges, stimulates, and supports each child on an individual level.

Booking your child into our Vacation Care program is easy and convenient. You can complete bookings online, through our App, or over the phone. Our friendly OSHC Support Team is also available Monday through Friday, 9am-5pm, to assist you with any inquiries.

YMCA OSHC is proud to offer a well-balanced program that includes physical activity, intellectual stimulation, and rest, keeping kids excited to come back. We are also known for delivering the best Vacation Care program in South Australia.

We prioritize the health and well-being of our students by sourcing our food from within the local community. Whenever possible, we utilize markets and local food co-ops to provide healthy and nutritious breakfasts, snacks, and afternoon tea.

Before your child can attend any Vacation Care sessions, they must be enrolled into the ANSS OSHC service. Service enrollment is a one-time process and does not need to be repeated for subsequent terms or years.

Our Vacation Care programs are designed to encourage children to participate in a variety of fun and exciting activities, including art, craft, cooking, sports, dance, and drama. We also organize exciting excursions to different destinations.

The daily fee for our program is set by YMCA South Australia in partnership with the School Council on an annual basis. Please note that prices from the 1st of July will be advised by the NDIS price guide.

To ensure the safety and support of all children, we offer a 1:3 ratio of staff to students. However, if additional needs require a 1:1 ratio, we can accommodate that as well.

Cancellation policies apply to our Vacation Care program. Cancellations received up to 2 weeks prior to the start of the program will receive a full refund. Cancellations received within 2 weeks of the program start date will be charged the full fee. However, if a medical certificate is provided to [email protected] no later than 5 business days from the missed service, no fees will be charged.
