Welcome to Mosaics By Design, located in the beautiful City of Mitcham, Blackwood, South Australia. Our establishment is a point of interest for all mosaic enthusiasts and those interested in creating stunning stained glass mosaics suitable for outdoor use.

At Mosaics By Design, we offer weekly casual classes where you can unleash your creativity and design your own 2D or 3D stained glass mosaic. Whether you prefer to work on your own 3D substrate or choose from our pre-made forms, our experienced instructors will guide you through the design layout, color selection, and tessera laying process. We are here to share our knowledge and help you achieve your desired result.

Our studio provides a comfortable and bright environment, surrounded by peaceful surroundings that inspire learning and creativity. We cater to all levels of experience, from beginners to advanced, and offer the flexibility to use various mediums such as stained glass smalti.

Join us on Friday, 24th February 2023, from 10am to 4pm, at Mosaics By Design Studio in Blackwood, South Australia, for a workshop where you will create stunning sun catchers for your garden or windows. The included swivel hook allows for versatile display options.

If you can't make it on that date, don't worry! We have more workshops scheduled throughout the year. On Sunday, 5th March 2023, from 10am to 4pm, we will hold another sun catcher workshop. Additionally, on Friday, 17th, 24th, and 31st March 2023, join us for a three-consecutive-Friday workshop where you can choose from three different processes to bring your mosaic ideas to life.

Looking ahead, on Thursday, 20th and Friday, 21st April 2023, from 10am to 4pm, we will guide you in creating beautiful detailed mosaics using a photo and temporary backing. This workshop offers a unique opportunity to learn a specialized technique.

Mark your calendars for Friday, 28th July 2023, to Sunday, 30th July 2023, where we will host a three-day workshop. Over the past 20 years, our studio has been commissioned to create remarkable mosaics, and in this workshop, we will share our expertise and teach you the art of mosaic creation.

Lastly, on Thursday, 7th and Friday, 8th September 2023, join us for a two-day workshop focused on a relaxing mosaic style. Discover the joy of mosaic making in a supportive and encouraging environment.
