"I've been using Aberfoyle Autofix for a couple of years now and Dave continues to impress. As a mechanic, he is thorough and helpful & keeps me updated about what needs to be done and when. His skill set is varied but if there's something you think he probably doesn't do, just ask, as he may be able to organise it for you. When it comes to the account there are no last minute surprises. Dave always contacts me for approval if anything additional is needed & is patient with his explanations when necessary. Paying couldn't be easier, as I can use my online banking app & send payment via his mobile phone number instantly, which saves me a trip to the atm. To give you an idea of the services he offers - When I first got my diesel vehicle, my partner accidentally filled up my tank with unleaded petrol (twice) and Dave came & fixed it on the driveway, after it was towed home on both occasions. At my most recent service I asked about having my air conditioner checked out, as it wasn't getting as cold as it used to. He arranged for leak dye testing to be done by an associate who specialises in car ac's & it was checked, serviced and topped up with gas on the same day as my car service. He also installed a reversing camera which needed to be wired into the tail light AND repaired my bumper and damaged panel after a minor car park accident. We were amazed at the quality of the work and it honestly looks as good as new. Dave collects my car from home and takes it to his place to work on, then brings it back once he's finished . From my end it's a seamless one stop shop. Dave delivers great workmanship at a competitive price point & I highly recommend Aberfoyle Autofix ☺️"
