At Cia Paulista Australia BJJ - Adelaide, we are proud to be represented by Head Coach Carlos Portugues Vieira. Hailing from Brazil, Carlos brings over 20 years of experience in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, gained both in his home country and around the world. His expertise has taken him to countries such as Portugal, the UK, Iceland, the USA, and Spain, where he has trained numerous world champions and earned a collection of world recognized titles himself.

Since his arrival in Australia in 2008, Carlos's goal has been to share his wealth of experience and knowledge, elevating the practice of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in Melbourne and throughout Australia to new heights.

While our headquarters are located in Melbourne's CBD, we are proud to have affiliate members spread across the state of Victoria, including East Brunswick, Ferntree Gully, Maribyrnong, Melbourne, Moe, and Oakleigh East. We also have affiliate locations interstate, including Adelaide (SA), Darwin (NT), Gympie (QLD), and the Gold Coast (QLD).
