"What on earth has happened to primary health care in Adelaide?? Our local GPs are so difficult to access. God forbid anyone has respiratory symptoms as any treatment plan will not occur until a covid swab returns a negative result. Even then the approach is dismissive and uncaring. In particular I am so concerned about corporate interests apparantly over riding the clinical care of young children. We avoid "blocking" the ED departments but cannot access a GP or locum in a timely manner. The system has become broken, are GPs and their leaders not intelligent and educated anymore? Covid 19 has replaced clinical management with an "I'm too busy to care" attitude and quite frankly I don't see the Trinity medical centre at Port Adelaide being swamped and overrun with active cases yet their attitude is appalling. We deserve better."
