"I am currently studying my certificate 4 in Health Care through Heed Health Education, having recently completed clinical workshop 1, and my experiences have been extremely positive. From correspondence before even committing to a course, to asking 15 questions about an assignment in a single email and everything in-between, the team at Heed Health Education's guidance, patience, professionalism, industry insight, and knowledge has been fantastic. The self-managed online learning learning format allows me to study what I can when I can, and the delivery structure of the units allows you to remain engaged with the material without feeling like you've bitten off too much as you gain knowledge. Clinical workshop 1 helps combine everything you've learnt and learn to apply it in simulated real world situations, which along with being a great experience, I feel is an important life skill even if you don't plan to work in the industry. I would highly recommend Heed Health Education for anybody looking to expand their health care and life support skills, or gain qualifications for a career in the health care industry. BACKGROUND: I am in my mid 30's and I work full time in a completely different industry with no previous health care experience (except for my First Aid Cert). I try to study approximately 10hrs each week however some weeks it might be 2hrs, sometimes maybe 12, so if I can do it you can too. My reason for choosing to study this certificate is because I have been unsure what career path to follow, I am learning essential life-saving skills, and in the grand scheme of things the financial/time commitment is not immense."
