Our journey began in November 2014 when we launched our mechanic workshop on the Gold Coast. Prior to this, we were well-known in the industry for the resale of second-hand vehicles. After selling these vehicles to our clients, they often sought our expertise for maintenance and repairs, prompting us to create a dedicated space for these services.
Initially, we started with a small workshop, but within six months, our reputation and customer base grew rapidly, making the space too small to meet the demand. That led us to search for a larger location, and now, Gringo Motors operates in a spacious workshop that allows us to better serve our customers.
While we are proud to be known as the first Brazilian mechanic workshop in the area, we warmly welcome customers from all nationalities. Our main purpose is to fix and maintain cars, ensuring that they are in optimal condition and providing a reliable service that our customers can trust.

"I sent the car there to change the clutch, they pretty much did the job in 2h, and later on the car started having problems with the clutch chattering, which makes the car shake badly and hesitate at takeoff. I brought it back there and after driving it the head mechanic said that the clutch was totally fine, and that if he had to open it again to check it, and it was really fine, I'd have to pay for the whole labour again. He put the problem in either coils, cables or sparkplugs, replaced the sparkplugs and sent me home. The problem is still there, car still shakes and hesitates a lot on takeoff, nothing changed. So far I have checked the problem with two other mechanics, both agreeing that the problem is clutch chattering, so I will have to do the clutch again. Basically, unprofessional and lying head mechanic."
"I was treated well until the moment I left my car at the workshop, being able to park it in front and leave the key in the mailbox. After the quote ($$$$$) was made (30 min), where I did not agree with the services and values, I started to be treated with contempt, ironies and a lot of arrogance. When I refused to do the service, I asked for bank details to pay only for the inspection and for my car to be returned to the street and the key in the mailbox “if you want you pay and pick up the keys personally, I won't do it for you ”. Definitely bad first and last experience, I don't recommend."
