"What an absolute gem of a holiday home! We could bring the boat and have access to our own waterfront jetty. The home is immaculate, with stunning views and everything you need to feel at home."
"My Mum and I stayed at Captain Johns Riverhouse for two nights, and we WISH we stayed longer! The owners have considered everything and more, we wanted for nothing and didn't want to leave. It's the perfect base to explore, we were able to drive everywhere (North, South, East and West), then return home to pure bliss! Beds were super comfortable, the kitchen and living area look like they're out of a magazine, and the deck and sun loungers were an extra room that we spent a lot of time in! The bike trail that runs 30+ km covered all of our travel with the complimentary bikes - we barely used our hire car! A must visit for couples and families alike, we will be back with the whole crew (property sleeps 8)."
"If you want a spacious holiday house with spectacular views, all the amenities you need (and more), excellent accommodation, plus super clean as well as beautiful decor, well look no further - this is it!!!! I was totally gobsmacked when I arrived at Captain John's River House - the only regret is that we didn't book a longer stay!!!! However, we will definitely be back and have already recommended it to others. Captain John's River House is the home away from home. There's so much room so no one has to bump into each other, and there are separate living areas (upstairs and downstairs) for the kids too if required!! The floor to ceiling windows in the upstairs living area provide picturesque views from anywhere you're standing. The communication with the host was faultless and she was extremely friendly."
