"I've bought 8 watches plus other things etc ,,all the staff thank you,but yes but Mary the boss is not very friendly had to go over her head about price she quoted me than didn't want to honour it so I rang head office, everything worked out great, but she now is I just learnt I didn't get all the off the box or. Instructions about watch because Mary is sour lady like she suckd on lemon all day, sincerely Ian McCartney. So in Monday the 14th Il ring Brisbane head office again how is this lady a team leader bad service. McCartney."
"I have a small gold ring that I needed to get fixed - the band was completely worn down and need replacing. I took it to Tweed Wallace and Bishop and the lady was quite unhelpful. I asked if the band could be replaced. She said to me it's extremely thin and would be cost more to fix it than it was worth. I replied, I understand this, but its sentimental, so you can't assume that." She asked me what kind of Gold it was, I was surprised as this should have been her job to check. I said I wasn't sure (it was given as a gift so I had no idea). She took the ring, held under a scope and said, It might be 9K.. might be? She got her folder out and pointed to a price and said thats how much it would cost. She pointed to $1,200 to get a new band! my finger's are tiny! Surely its not that much material ! IF she knew what she was doing she would have seen that it was gold plated, yet she priced me on something else. I was in shock. No Gem, diamond or anything, just a band replacement. I left shocked, and made to feel like my concerns were a waste of time. I went to a lovely jewellery shop in Palm Beach, Gold coast, he looked at it straight away under a scope and knew what carrot it was. He fixed the ring, with a thick new band for under $200! He knew my product, knew what was required and genuinely cared about the customer. It doesn't take much. Let alone the price difference. Do not go to any large company that outsources to another to get your jewellery fixed, i can guarantee you 80% of that quote would be going to Wallace and Bishop profit margin. For Tweed Wallace and Bishop, please re-assess your prices and customer service - both need due attention."
"I dont like doing bad reviews but the mishandle and reaction I received shocked me. I dropped in with a pair of supposedly my G-Great grandmothers stud earnings asking if they were real and their value, the employee took one earing pulled it apart, said they were lovely but no and put them back. I went to 'Top Jewellers" who estimated a value of 3k-4k but the first thing they said when they inspected the earing handled earlier was "have you pulled this one apart? Cause they are a twist and the first few threads on this earing are damaged" I felt so sick as I said "no I haven't even taken them from the box, but the lady in the other shop pulled them apart I think" I went back to check and the employee confirmed she pulled it apart, I winced and said "they are a twist" they shrugged and said "ok" blankly looking at me, I just walked away quietly as I was shocked by the lack of care in both unnecessary handling and the care for the damage she had caused. Thankfully they are not horribly damaged, but for somthing thats not only expensive but heritage and a gift that has not been used since its first owner, I can not help but feel sick by the treatment and response I was given. Please have your employees properly trained in the handling of jewellery, I should be able to trust your employees."
"Always get friendly, excellent service.' I highly recommend wallace Bishop Tweed City."
