"I have taken my ranger to cross country 3 or 4 time now and last time I took my car there I asked them to fix my air conditioner and they said we will need to take my dash out but they don’t do that and I’ll have to take it somewhere else but made me pay $1100 for it. So I am now going somewhere else and they said it looks like cross country haven’t even done anything to the car and just looked at it and put a bunch of stuff down so they could get some money I will not recommend cross country to my worst enemy"
"Cross Country 4x4 should not be trusted if you care about your safety. Had a suspension upgrade done there, they failed to correctly fasten the U bolts under the car, resulting in the suspension dislodging on a country road and complete loss of control of the vehicle. We ended up screeching to a stop diagonally across the opposite lane with no way to move the car to a safe location. Luckily it happened at low speed – had we been travelling at the 100km/h speed limit, the situation would have been devastating and resulted in serious injury or worse. Understandably human error is a thing, but to add insult to injury, the attitude of this establishment in response to this incident was dismissive and arrogant. They repaired the car mechanically after the incident, but then I had to threaten court action as they stopped responding in regards to the panel damage, I had to deal with their insurance directly to get the matter resolved, which took months. There had already been multiple issues prior to this – Intercooler hose was not installed properly and popped off while driving on the expressway Light bar was not connected Hose off cuts were left in my engine bay They did a tune but had no AFR sensor on the dyno and cannot provide me with any paperwork regarding the tune The upper control arms wouldn’t fit unless I got new rims Every time they had my car, the works took A LOT longer than originally stated and I wasn’t advised of the extra time required until late afternoon on the day I was meant to pick the car up. Think long and hard about using this company. They are, at best, unprofessional and incompetent – at worst, actually dangerous."
"I purchased the GU patrol td42 Ultimate kit to install on my personal vehicle and I love it. The fabricated product is top notch and very nicely put together, the frame that supports the intercooler fit perfectly and was much sturdier than I expected. I wasn’t such a fun of the wiring harness to suit the fan but it was easily adjusted to be suitable for my application. After installing this kit and a larger air box I had the car retuned to ensure safe operation and after nearly 8 months of it being installed I can certainly notice the difference, EGTs have dropped all through the range and I now notice that the hottest I will see it get is 450. My trip to the Simpson was the test and it performed flawlessly in the warm temps. The ordering process was great and Craig was fantastic to deal with and very accomodating. Thanks for a great experience I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you to my mates and I’m sure I’ll purchase again for future vehicles"
