At Gold Coast Butterflies, we have a wide selection of nectar plants for adult butterflies and host plants for caterpillars, which are available for purchase at the Butterfly House, Carrara Markets. We also offer Butterfly Gardening Kits that contain all the information and seeds you need to get started on creating your own butterfly haven.

In addition to our retail offerings, Gold Coast Butterflies provides Education Services for schools, kindergartens, child care centers, homeschoolers, aged care facilities, and other groups. Our experienced team can visit your classroom for an engaging and informative 45-minute presentation on the Butterfly Life Cycle and conservation. The presentation includes visual materials, songs, fun facts, and the opportunity to observe live butterfly eggs, caterpillars, chrysalides, and adult butterflies. For a truly unique experience, we also offer exclusive excursions to the Butterfly House, where you can interact with the butterflies and caterpillars up close.

Planning a special event or group gathering? Look no further! Gold Coast Butterflies offers private use of the Butterfly House for small groups, creating a memorable and enchanting experience. Additionally, for kids' birthdays, we provide the free use of the Party Room at Carrara Markets, adding an extra touch of magic to their special day.

We are proud to be actively involved in voluntary Butterfly Research on a weekly basis and offer free monthly guided tours as part of the Wildlife Group, which is a branch of the Friends of the Gold Coast Botanic Gardens.
