"Edited after the last couple of visits: This place has gone DOWNHILL massively since they first opened. They need to seriously hire more staff or learn to prioritise dine in customers. Have had a few issues the last few visits (wrong order, long wait time, food wasn't as good) but we thought we'd give it a go again last night because it's near by and they have been good in the past. As soon as we sat down I noticed customers going up to the front to complain that their food hadn't come yet and complain. I said to my dining partner, maybe we should leave as that wasn't a good sign and they said nah we're here lets stick it out. From the moment we sat down it took 50 minutes for our food to get to the table. It took about 30 minutes for the drinks we ordered to come out. While there, there was another customer who started to abuse the young dude that is working behind the counter there... On the one hand I felt sorry for the guy as he's just running the register, on the other hand it was hitting 40 minutes wait time for us so it was hard not to relate to the frustration this dude was feeling. During the time we sat down and waited for our order, about 30 Ubereats people came through. This is extremely disheartening when you're sitting there hungry and you know you ordered before them. The food was ok but damn... They need to restructure how their business is run because I don't think we'll be back after that effort. Hire some more kitchen staff or work out how to run the place more efficiently. Never good to see tempers flaring from the hungry customers."

"Most people say 3rd times a charm, unless you come here. Twice I've been told 15 minutes, and have still been waiting after 45 minutes. Both times they stuffed up the order. The final straw was getting inedible drunken noodles on the weekend which went in the bin. We won't mention the fact you can't call through half the time on the listed mobile number. Service is as good as the food."

"Food is very average, $18 for basically just rice noodles and sauce as there were hardly any veggies included. Took nearly an hour to get our two takeaway noodles. When we ordered online, they called to let us know that they didn't have one of the dishes and if wanted to swap for curry puffs which we agreed to. They then called us back saying they couldn't make the curry puffs."

"We went there for our anniversary dinner. The staff set up our table nicely and you can see the photos.. including wine glass.. Foods were really great. We ordered soft shell crab, green curry with seafood , pad Thai chicken and boneless chicken entree. Overall I can tell you I will definitely come back for more meal time with social street.. We had Ubertas merlot (from Barossa) that night too. You guys should try and visit them in Barossa if u ever go to Barossa. Thank you staff for the services. I have also attached the menu list in this review. Feel welcome to ask them any question. This is located near newton shopping centre. The outside is very catchy. Bluey colour. Only suggestion is that the front door need to be fix as soon as possible. As the winds blow, the cold air comes through , it makes the other customer unable to enjoy their meals.. constantly get up and shut that front door"

"Quite nice, but there is a room to improve. The food was simply delicious, however, seasoning was bit overpowering, may be a little less salt and sugar will make it even better in my opinion. The waiting staff was kind and responsive and we loved the nice and tidy mordern interior. Will definately visit again to try other menus (red curry!!)"
