"Great place to camp with friend or family. Nearly all sites have fire pits so bring your firewood. Fits car campers with tents all the way to caravans and big cars with awnings, just check which of the sites suit your needs. As expected, muddy during rainy seasons but great if there's some sun. Sinks and taps are recycled water, runs brown so not suitable for drinking but ok for cleaning utensils if you have your own water to rinse it off. If you're lucky you won't have loud company blasting ridiculously loud music like I did or children constantly trying to be heard. Please be mindful and respect other campers there. Nice river scenery you could visit and hiking trails you could walk along. Would go again on warmer months and during week days if you got time off to avoid loud children."
"Surprising, expansive views of nature and beautiful fauna. We have enjoyed some great hikes there."
"A nice loop walk (45 minutes) having a look at the old mining area of the Barossa Goldfields. Great signage around the bush track informing of the past. Lots to see including old mine shafts, diggings and buildings including tools and equipment used."
