Rockmans Australia Fair 42 Marine Parade, Southport, Queensland 4215

"I don’t typically write reviews, but I felt it is important to warn you all. I have shopped at many women’s clothing stores and in all my life I have NEVER EVER experienced this type of service ...ever! Melody was the associate who served me and if there was a rating under 1 Star, I would rate Melody at zero stars. Melody Was rude, disrespectful, and as far from professional as you could possibly imagine. I asked to speak with Melody‘s manager so I can have him/her spend a few more hours training Melody on customer service and people skills, only to find out that Melody is in fact the manager of this disorganised mess..... WOW .... I thought at first, then I looked around and it all made sense. Melody Presents her store the way she offers customer service ...messy, disorganised and depressing. We “the ladies” shop more for the experience than the need. Now if you are like me and like 99% of the women in the world who like to have a happy experience shopping, then do not ever consider this store. However, if you must shop there, then ask to be served by anyone except Melody to ensure you have a good rest of your day. If you don’t believe me, just read the other reviews about this below average store and service. I am certain that unless Melody‘s managers re-train her on customer service and respect, this Rockmans will be just another vacant space at this shopping center."

"Very unhelpful staff on 31 Dec around 4 pm . The day before I purchased 3 items but as one size was not right , I returned the following day to see if they had the right size, , as they did not , i asked the person working there, would she mind ringing an other Rockmans store to check if they had the right size. I was totaly surprised and shocked when she refused . The shop was empty, not one customer in it, but she told me she doesnt even have time to go to the toilet for 5 min, ,that is how short staffed they are , So I came home and rang Nerang Rockmans, spoke to very helpful SANDRA , who was also working alone, but she took time to get all the details from me , looked it up in computer and they had the right size. It is not the store , they are the individuals working there. When I dealt with Runnaway Bay store, and dealt with Amanda , she was also very pleasant and helpful. So the dark haired lady working at Southport Rockmans, is overworked , tired and unhelpful, maybe she should stand down and allow a more helpful person to work there,"

"I have shopped at Rockmans for years this was the first time at this store, extremely unhelpful staff, more interested in chatting with each other, almost seemed an effort to assist me in the store, never going back to the Australia Fair store, not impressed."

"I've visited the shop two days in a row, both times the staff treated myself and my mother in a disgustingly rude manner. The staff were more interested in their conversation than helping customers and seemed annoyed that we wanted assistance. The place is just run by homophobic old white ladies."

"The staff are very rude. They look down at you. Are not helpful. Had to wait for the 2 staff members to stop having a conversation, then I had to chase one of them to ask if they had a certain item of clothing as I could not find it. Not a greeting or smile from either of the staff members. Felt very unwelcome"
