About the Business
Welcome to Gimbal Group - Trade Recognition & Qualifications, located at High Wycombe, Abernethy Road, 969 in Australia. As an establishment and point of interest, we understand the importance of having a competitive edge in the booming trade industry. That's why we are here to help you get qualified and stay ahead of the curve.
Since 2006, our Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) at Gimbal Training have been delivering top-notch training and assessments. Our dedicated team is committed to assessing your skills, certifying your experiences, and providing you with apprenticeship training. With services available throughout Australia under Gimbal Construction (RTO ID 32201) and Gimbal Engineering (RTO ID 31820), we've got you covered!
At Gimbal Training, we offer a range of professional services, including Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), Skills Assessments, and Apprenticeship Pathways. RPL is particularly beneficial for those with experience in their relevant field who need professional qualifications to uphold their skills. Getting an RPL in Australia with Gimbal Training is a straightforward process. It involves collecting and organizing evidence and previous documents that prove your trade experience. If any gaps in your knowledge are identified, we also offer training to fill them in. In approximately three to six months, you should receive your RPL.
A skill assessment is another service we provide. It is a formal evaluation process conducted by an RTO to determine if an individual's qualifications, work experience, and skills meet the required standards for a specific occupation in Australia. Skill assessments can be part of the RPL process and are crucial for individuals considering migration to Australia, especially those applying under the General Skilled Migration (GSM) program or Employer Sponsored visas.
Apprenticeships are an excellent way to combine on-the-job training with classroom instruction. They provide a well-rounded education that covers practical skills and theoretical knowledge. Our structured approach ensures that apprentices develop a comprehensive understanding of their trade. Through apprenticeships, trade professionals gain hands-on experience working under the supervision of skilled and experienced tradespeople. This practical experience allows them to hone their skills, become proficient in various techniques, and develop expertise in their chosen trade.
Trade licensing is also an essential aspect of the industry, as it helps regulate good standards. By obtaining a trade license, you can provide clients and employers with peace of mind, knowing that you have the relevant skills and professionalism required for the job. A license also gives you an edge over unprofessional contractors offering cheaper rates, allowing you to advance your career and charge the required rate. However, it's important to note that trade licenses may differ from state to state, so thorough research is necessary before applying or pursuing an apprenticeship.
With our simple six-step process, you can obtain your formal qualification in a short period of time. Our friendly team members are here to guide you through each step of the way. During the consultation, we'll ensure your eligibility for an RPL by asking you the necessary questions and providing you with login details for our online platform. You'll then collect and organize your experience for your assessor using a combination of workplace documents, interviews, videos, and reports from previous employers.
Following that, you'll complete an online knowledge test, provide any additional video evidence, and undergo an interview with the assessor to assess the technical aspects of your qualification. If there are any gaps identified, your assessor will advise you on further training to address them. Once the assessment is complete, your assessor will create a report with a recommendation based on the evidence you provided, the outcome of the written test, and the interviews. This report will be submitted to our Compliance department for approval. Finally, you'll be issued your nationally recognized qualification and provided with all the necessary documents.
Some of the qualifications we offer include Certificate III in Cabinet Making and Timber Technology (MSF31113), Certificate III in Painting and Decorating CPC30620, Certificate III in Wall and Ceiling Lining CPC31220, Certificate IV in Building and Construction Course CPC40120, Certificate III in Engineering Fixed and Mobile Plant Mechanic MEM31419, Certificate III in Engineering Mechanical Trade | MEM30219, and Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication Trade MEM30319.
Don't miss out on the opportunity to enhance your skills, gain professional qualifications, and advance in your trade career. Contact us today to speak to one of our friendly team members and get started on your consultation. Gimbal Training is here to support you every step of the way.
