"Recently I visited the dental clinic needing emergency attention. I was pleasantly surprised, when I was attended by Shauna and Megan. They were so polite, attentive and caring. It could not have been easier. They made me feel at ease and guided me through the procedure. Great service! Thank you ladies for all your help and assistance."
"I went there to get a couple of fillings and a clean in mid February, 2022. I was treated by a young Indian-Australian woman by the name of Paranjothy. That night one of the fillings came out when I had dinner. I felt the hole in my tooth. But I did not actually remember the filling coming out because if a filling comes out then you get that crunching sensation as you chew. The disturbing thing was that I put my fingernail into the hole and could scoop out dental amalgam. The filling had not been hardened and there was still soft amalgam in my tooth. She had done the filling very quickly (and I have never had a filling done that quickly before). I had a persistent mild headache that evening and the next day. I also experienced pain on my right side near the bottom of my rib cage - i.e. in my liver. There seem to be a lot of complaints about this clinic and its dentists. I think that there needs to be some kind of serious review of this place. Update (25/02/22): I returned to have the filling redone in late February. I was treated by a dentist who originated from the UK called "Andy". I was instructed, by the dental nurse, to sit in the dental chair and swish some antiseptic liquid for 30 seconds. Soon after, Andy sat in a (what I assume was a) swivel office chair behind me to look at my dental history. I was reclined on the dentist chair and Andy turned and hit under the the headrest (where my head was placed) with his knee or the side or the side of the chair (?). Of course, I could not see exactly what he did because he was behind me; I could only feel the impact. It was not a light brush, but a forcible impact. Then he did it another two times, but a little less forcefully, though still forcefully. I found this somewhat disturbing. To have done it once might have been accidental, but to do it three times seemed very very suspect. The dental nurse would have, no doubt, seen this. There was no apology, and his demeanour was a dismissive and overbearing. He seemed to have a significantly elevated sense of importance that conflicted with his public function. He has an obligation to deal with people with due respect. I was polite and did not act in any way that was disrespectful. When the treatment was over, I got up and felt a little bit dazed, and lost my sense of direction and went to leave in the wrong direction. I don't know if that was because of the knocks to the headrest; the treatment, or a combination of the two. The filling was successful, but I will definitely not return to the Morley dental clinic."
"The reviews on here are horrible but I went twice recently and had such PROFESSIONAL and FRIENDLY experience. I needed my wisdom tooth taken out so I booked an emergency consultation. I waited 3 weeks for the consultation and was told I needed to get an xray done down the street during the consultation. The dentist said if I went now, she can look at it on the same day and I brought it back within 30 minutes and she took a look and booked me in for a surgery. That was another 3 week wait. On the day, the dentist and the assistant made me really comfortable, the surgery went quickly and they tried to make it as painless as possible. They were all very professional and helpful as they answered any concerns I had. It was a pleasant experience. TIP: if you want to make a booking, it's best to go in person rather than calling."
"Here’s a rare and pleasant surprise. Everyone at the clinic treats their clients with good humour, respect and care. Special thanks to Elizabeth and Laura. What a great team. If only private health care was this good it would make so much more sense."
