Welcome to Largs Bay Sailing Club, a vibrant institution located in the picturesque area of Largs Bay, Australia. As a community-based, volunteer-run Sailing Club, we are dedicated to promoting and developing the sport of sailing for all ages and skill levels.

Our Junior and Youth Development Programs are designed to introduce children and families to the exciting world of sailing, as well as enhance the skills of those already involved in the sport. Through our program, participants have the opportunity to learn and experience sailing firsthand using our fleet of Optimist dinghies, under the guidance of our experienced instructors.

To ensure the safety and continued growth of our young members, we are launching a fundraising initiative. Your tax-deductible donation will enable us to provide essential sailing and safety equipment, as well as improve our training facilities. By contributing to our Youth Development Fund, you are directly supporting the next generation of sailors and helping them access the equipment they need to excel in this great sport.

At Largs Bay Sailing Club, we offer summer Saturday sailing competitions for all dinghy, catamaran, and trailerable yacht classes. Whether you are a seasoned sailor or a beginner, our club provides a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone. We place a strong emphasis on junior training, ensuring that newcomers to sailing receive comprehensive instruction, while also offering youth coaching programs for those looking to enhance their skills.

In addition to our regular competitions, we have the privilege of hosting National and State Championship Regattas for various Australian Class Associations. These prestigious events bring together top sailors from around the country, showcasing the talent and passion that exists within our club.

However, we recently faced a setback when our Race Committee Boat was destroyed by fire during a launch in mid-February 2020. While our volunteers were quick to evacuate and thankfully no one was injured, we now need your support to replace this vital vessel. Your financial contribution will help us acquire a suitable replacement and ensure the continuation of professional race management at our club.
