About the Business
Welcome to Boya Community Centre, located in the beautiful Shire of Mundaring, Western Australia. This establishment is not just your ordinary point of interest, but a vibrant hub for the local community.
At Boya Community Centre, we pride ourselves on providing a fully accessible facility that caters to a variety of needs. Our spacious 300m2 room can be divided into two separate 150m2 spaces, thanks to our convenient dividing doors. Whether you're hosting a small gathering or a larger event, we have the perfect space for you.
Please note that while our venue is available for hire, we do have restrictions on high-risk events, including 16th, 18th, and 21st birthday parties. However, for all other occasions, our venue offers a maximum capacity of 90 people for each hall or 180 when combined into one large hall.
In addition to our accessible internal fit-out, we also provide ample sealed car parking bays, including two designated accessible car bays. We strive to ensure that everyone can enjoy our facilities comfortably.
When it comes to rates, we offer different options based on your needs. Community rates are available for groups or individuals who engage in activities that do not generate personal profit. On the other hand, commercial rates apply to those who generate income for personal payment or profit, as well as State/Federal Government Agencies. For functions, we offer a special rate that covers up to six hours of hire, with additional hours charged at the applicable hourly rate.
Please be aware that all bookings incur an administration fee of $8.90. To make a booking or inquire about availability, you can reach our Facilities Booking Officer via email at [email protected] or by calling (08) 9290 6731.
Aside from being a versatile venue, Boya Community Centre is also home to a range of activities. Please note that these activities are subject to change, so we recommend checking our website or contacting us for the most up-to-date information.
We would also like to take a moment to acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land, the Whadjuk people of the Noongar Nation. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present, and emerging, and honor their ongoing culture and contributions to the region.
Whether you're looking for a venue to host your next event or wanting to participate in community activities, Boya Community Centre is here to welcome you with open arms. Join us in creating a vibrant and inclusive community in the heart of Boya.
