"We had lunch here today first time we've visited. Surroundings are lovely and range of goods for sale impressive. Unfortunately cafe service failed to impress. We ( 3 people ) ordered 3 of the tasting plates to share and 3 coffees. First problem came when didn't charge us for 1 plate. When the staff realised and approached us, I went back inside and paid the difference quite happily. It took nearly 30 minutes for the food to arrive but one tasting plate was missing and no coffees. After we'd eaten most of the delivered food ( about 15 minutes ) , I went back inside and asked what had happened to the charcuterie plate and coffees. At that point I was advised that the coffee machine wasn't working and they were trying to fix it and they would check with the kitchen about other food. It took about another 10 minutes to deliver remaining food with a complimentary extra serve of bread. No one at any point asked if we would like something else to drink, even water. We eventually noticed water bottles and glasses inside and took some ourselves. When we'd finished eating, I went inside and asked staff to cancel coffee order and was asked if we'd like a refund. The food was very nice but the organisation and communication from staff to customers was poor. While I might visit again to shop , would be very unlikely to eat there again."
