Welcome to Eq Cetera Inc., located in Darling Downs, Western Australia. As an establishment and point of interest, we are dedicated to providing Adaptive Horse Riding, Equine Assisted Learning, and Hippotherapy services. With a beautiful location on Hopkinson Road, our facility is home to 12 horses/ponies and offers a range of programs to enhance physical and emotional well-being.

At Eq Cetera Inc., we understand the profound impact that interacting with horses can have on individuals. Through our Adaptive Horse Riding program, participants of all ages can experience the benefits of horseback riding. Our sessions, available for both groups and individuals starting at age three, are held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays throughout the day and into the early evening. Each session lasts 40-60 minutes, including mounting and dismounting. Private sessions are also available and can last up to 60 minutes.

We believe that groundwork and grooming are essential for building a strong horse-human relationship. All riding at Eq Cetera Inc. begins with flatwork, which may progress over time into dressage training and competition. As riders gain confidence in the saddle, they have the opportunity to explore jumping and eventing.

In addition to horseback riding, we offer horse-centered learning sessions that focus on improving self-awareness, confidence, communication, teamwork, and literacy/numeracy skills. Hippotherapy, a specialized form of physiotherapy that takes place on horseback, is another service we provide at Eq Cetera Inc. This therapy uses the specific movements of a horse to aid in the rehabilitation of neurological and complex conditions in both adults and children. Our Hippotherapy sessions, held every Monday and Saturday in collaboration with Embrace Therapy, have been proven to enhance motor, sensory, and language skills.

As a Registered NDIS Provider, AHAI International Member Facility, and affiliated with the Australian Pony Club, we are committed to providing high-quality services and prioritizing inclusivity and safety for all clients in the community and equestrian competitions.

Our Head Coach, Rekha, founded Eq Cetera Inc. after experiencing the value of horses through volunteering with RDA. With postgraduate qualifications in business and equine-related coaching, Rekha is passionate about using horses for physiotherapy, adaptive riding, and equine facilitated learning.
