About the Business
Welcome to Carmel Adventist College - Secondary, a thriving Christ-centred learning community located in the beautiful town of Carmel, Australia. Situated on Glenisla Road, our institution is a point of interest and a school of choice for many families in the area.
At Carmel, we are passionately committed to enabling every student to flourish in all aspects of their life. Our dedicated staff and caring environment create a nurturing atmosphere where children can learn and play. We believe in the holistic development of our students, focusing on their spiritual, academic, emotional, social, and physical growth, with their future success in mind.
Our institution offers a comprehensive educational journey from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12. Our early childhood program, including Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten, establishes a solid foundation for essential skills necessary for future success. Through engaging activities and a supportive learning environment, our young learners develop the necessary skills to thrive in the succeeding years of school.
In our Junior School program, spanning Years 1 to 6, we focus on creating a strong foundation for learning. Students are encouraged to establish responsible work skills and ethics, as well as develop time-management skills. We provide a well-rounded curriculum that fosters curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for learning.
As students progress to our Secondary School program, spanning Years 7 to 12, we strengthen their interests and abilities, preparing them for the workforce or tertiary study. Our dedicated teachers provide a challenging and supportive environment that encourages personal growth, academic excellence, and the pursuit of individual passions.
For students who require boarding facilities, our Carmel Boarding House offers a "home away from home" experience. Here, students can build lasting and valuable friendships with each other and our caring House Parents. We strive to create a supportive community where students feel safe, supported, and can focus on their academic and personal development.
Carmel Adventist College is proud to be a Pre-Kindy to Year 12 Christian College. We are located at two separate campuses within a short distance from each other, allowing us to provide a dynamic and inclusive educational experience for our students.

"A fantastic school - highly recommend! Teachers were caring and devoted - tough but fair."
"I’m giving it a one star because I’m going to be nice but if I’m being honest Carmel is a very bad school theirs a lack of a education if your student here that’s not very smart you should go to school that will assist you Carmel doesn’t not help their students. The school is very old they haven’t upgraded anything all they’ve done is repaint it they need to do some serious upgrade and build more facilities for students and they also need to give students their canteen no only the boarders having their own one IN the school building it should be in their boarding house.WE NEED MORE STAFF we barely have any teaches now everyone’s leaving even students too if they don’t continue to fix this problem in the school they will keep loosing people and some teachers aren’t even good some don’t teachers don’t teach properly.Canteen food needs to be variety especially bringing more hot foods like other schools"
"Best decision we made moving our Son from Mazenod. Teachers care about each student. The best environment."
"I love this school, it’s the best school I have found for my 4 kids, after being in many different ones. The teachers are amazing always worried about the kids, I like that the school is strict, kids need this, and the place is so beautiful and big."
"Sadly this school was improving but have gone extreemly down hill. The teachers don't have the skills or desire required to protect the students from some danerous students at the school. They prefer to find the easy option rather then the right option. There are too many teachers who are at the school not becuase they are good teachers but becuase they are friends. It is about time that the bored steps in and makes so HUGE changes."
