Reviews
"Really nice Farmers market with lots of fresh produce and bake goods. Especially you have the star there Poh Ling. Always love her."
"The market as a whole is great. I came to review Toetjes Dutch fusion street food. Ordered a burger, (a ridiculous $16) too small with hardly any filling and far too expensive!! Ordered a chai latte, too cold and too weak. The woman who served me was rude, flustered and spacey..not knowing what I ordered a few seconds after I'd said it. This soured my family's experience of the markets - after having not been for years - came back to this! After finishing that, my dissatisfied husband still wanted something to fill his grumbling belly so we went to 'The Spare room' stall where we were met with friendly smiling faces, awesome reasonable prices and a large delicious bacon and egg roll at a quarter of the price of the small burger at Toetjes! There is no need for greedy prices, even though this market is held in an affluent suburb where people may have a few more dollars to spare on breakfast, there is no need to abuse that..life is already expensive enough! It'd be great if the companies selling at this market could realize that not everyone has expendable cash to just waste on whatever.. we came to get produce and a tasty breakfast. We will never waste any more money on Toetjes. We will, however, be spending again at The Spare room because of their lovely attitude and realistic prices."
"Nice Farmers Market just a little south of the central part of town. It’s easily accessible by both train and tram (though unfortunately just a couple of stops outside the free tram zone). It has a wide variety of fresh produce as well as numerous stalls inside and outside selling food and drinks. It’s free to enter and worth the visit if you’re nearby. There seemed to be some similar vendors to the Central Market, though it had a much different vibe. FYI, try to get there earlier than later as things were starting to close up when we visited at noon."
"Huge market which includes loads of local farmers selling things such as fruit, veg, baked goods and candles. There’s live music as well. The market is both outdoors and indoors. There is a very popular shop that sells tuna from port Lincoln as well as a baker from the basket range."
"Great little food market with a variety of edible options. Had a grazing brunch, so many delicious treats including the Alpacca Salami (give it a try!). Unfortunately Po wasn't at JamFace the day we visited so will try again next time we're in town!"
