"Won't be back to this place. The rooms are so small and not worth the price. The air-conditioning felt like it was barely working. There was a pair of men's underwear, used tissues and nasal spray under the bed. No plates, kettle or any cutlery. The shower was either too hot or too cold and couldn't seem to get it to a decent temperature. Stayed at better hotels for less money."

"The room was not ready to check into at 3pm, apparently because the cleaners hadn’t updated their computer system (?). Upon receiving the key to check into our room after waiting for 40 minutes, we walk into the room to find a staff member standing in our room saying the tv isn’t working. Again, very odd. We told him to leave as we were tired from the trip. We go to take a bath, the bath doesn’t have a plug. We call reception twice and after an hour they deliver one that doesn’t fit. We found out later that the aircon also doesn’t work. By this point, we’d given up trying to rectify issues. Recommend you look elsewhere."

"Location was perfect, not to far from the surfers paradise. I love the pool area with spa and facing the Nerang river. You can swim while having a good cocktails. Kid friendly pool and spa's. Bed were really comfy and we got our own patio with perfect view to see Gold coast. Parking is $30 a day till 1pm, you can pay a day before it and the roller for parking will open itself."

"Fantastic stay as part of a tour group visiting QLD, the Vibes Hotel Gold Coast did a great job from check-in, all the way through our stay. Rooms were clean, spacious and offered great views over the adjacent river. O&M amenities in the bathroom were a lovely touch. As was the empty mini-fridge. Rooms could be improved with better sound deadening and insulation, but mostly okay when the room next to mine was empty. Pool and Driftwood Bar area was inviting, well laid-out and served well by the staff there. Breakfast buffet was all adequate and very nice. Front desk and House-keeping team both friendly, helpful and a pleasure to interact with throughout my stay. Overall great location, value and experience, exceeding my initally admittedly low expectations. I would come back and stay again!"

"Wouldn’t recommend this hotel at all! Service was awful, the only friendly staff was the lovely lady at breakfast, even on check in they were sour. The rooms are TINY and not how they look in photos. The bathroom is dirty and in need of a revamp as the toilet doesn’t even flush properly or will continuously run. The aircon doesn’t work. The expensive view we paid for of the ocean isn’t even worth a balcony or a mention, we paid the exact same amount as the hotels right on the water with a much nicer view. The spa and pool were both filthy and definitely not family friendly as the pool is located right next to the bar. We asked for later checkout and was spoken to so rudely. The “buffet” breakfast you pay for is some fruit, toast and cereal and a small choice of prepared meals. The parking we paid $30 per night for was a joke, they overbook it and the bays are tiny, and ridiculous to get in and out of. This was the biggest regret and disappointment of our whole holiday. Save your time and money and book elsewhere. There’s much nicer, newer and fairer priced hotels in the Gold Coast."
