Welcome to the Morphett Vale RSL Sub Branch, a distinguished establishment located at 8 Robertson Avenue in Morphett Vale, Australia. As a point of interest, our institution holds a special place in the hearts of many Australians due to our commitment to serving and honoring our current and former servicemen and servicewomen.

Originally known as the Returned & Services League of Australia, our institution underwent a name change in 1990 to reflect our dedication to the welfare of both current and former members of the Australian Defense Force. Under the leadership of Major General A.G. [Greg] Melick AO RFD SC, the current National President of the League, we continue to uphold our mission of seeking benefits and providing welfare for serving and ex-service men and women, as well as their dependents.

In South Australia alone, our responsibility extends to approximately 400,000 ex-service men and women, their widows, and dependents. We strive to perpetuate the close bonds of friendship formed through mutual service in the Defense Force or allied forces. Our aim is to maintain a standard of dignity and honor among all past and present serving members, while setting an example of public spirit and noble-hearted endeavor.

One of our key objectives is to preserve the memory and records of those who have sacrificed and died for Australia. Additionally, we provide assistance to the sick, wounded, and needy among those who have served, including pensions, medical attention, and support for homes and hospital visits.

Loyalty to the nation is a core value at the Morphett Vale RSL Sub Branch. We are dedicated to safeguarding the good name and preserving the interests and standing of our Defense Force members. Furthermore, we actively contribute to the development of a national Defense infrastructure and Defense industry, as well as promote the proper employment of the nation's natural resources.
