About the Business
Welcome to Aldinga Bay Surf Life Saving Club, located at Aldinga Beach on Norman Road in Australia. Our institution is not just your average restaurant or point of interest, but a place where people come together to learn, grow, and have fun.
Surf Lifesaving is an incredible opportunity for young children to develop a wide range of skills. From swimming and surf knowledge to sun safety and first aid, our juniors get to learn valuable life-saving techniques while enjoying an active and exciting environment. We believe in fostering social interaction skills and promoting a sense of community among our young members. If you want your child to become a nipper and experience the joys of Aldinga Bay SLSC, please visit our Juniors page for more information.
Our senior members, aged 15 and above, play a crucial role in our club activities. They undergo further training to become responsible patrollers of our beaches and actively participate in surf sports. Surf Lifesaving provides a fantastic pathway for our young lifesavers as they transition into adulthood and become more involved as volunteers in the community. It's a rewarding experience that not only builds character but also instills a sense of responsibility and leadership.
For those who have reached the age of 30 and above, our Masters category offers an opportunity to compete in master's events. Masters must have attained the Bronze Medallion, maintain proficiency each year, and fulfill patrol and other obligations to the club. We encourage our Masters members to engage in administrative, management, and various activities, including Surf Sports, Officiating, and Coaching. It's a chance to continue their passion for surf lifesaving and contribute to the growth and development of our club.
We would like to express our gratitude to our sponsors for their unwavering support. Without you, we wouldn't be able to provide the necessary resources and opportunities to our members. Your contributions help us create a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone involved.
Whether you're looking to join as a junior, senior, or master, Aldinga Bay Surf Life Saving Club welcomes you with open arms. Come and be a part of our vibrant community, where we value teamwork, camaraderie, and the preservation of life.

"Called in for coffee and cake. They are not set up for this as it is a restaurant. We settled for excellent coffee and choices from the desert menu. Excellent, full of flavour and freshly made. Great service and assistance from the business partners and staff. The place itself is clean, bright and airy with reasonable room to move and park two walking frames. Access is great once you negotiate the pine bark and gravel foot paths. NO disability parking spots with rough, loose gravel parking area and foot paths being the only drawback."
"Went there at Tue night so can't see much outside(beach view). But inside the restaurant area very nice n cosy n comfort. Location wise menu can't ask for more. Food well cooked n tasty. But the wine list is a BOOM! Cover all tastes n local favourite. Wait til summer time it will be a hit spot for sure!"
"Went for a special family lunch for my mums 80th birthday. Because there was 14 of us we had to use the limited set menu apparently which cost $45 per head. We had 4 varieties of finger food to share which were in small serves placed along our table. Olive, cured King Fish with a few slices of orange, humus dip with toasted focaccia and a bowl of lettuce with Mayo and shaved parmesan which hadn't been rinsed and was very gritty. We had a choice of approx 6 main meals which included schnitzel, burger, s & p squid, stuffed capsicum, battered fish as far as I can remember which were no better than a pub meal. For the price I would've expected something a bit better. My Mum had booked after dining there before and was quite disappointed and embarrassed after talking it up. $630 it cost and was quite disappointing"
"So happy we stumbled upon this place! It’s rare to find a location that ticks every box (food, drink, service, music, style), but this place has nailed it. The gnocchi, with locally grown pumpkin, was the best I have ever eaten. As was the salami pizza. And I don’t throw those compliments around easily. I’ve fallen in love with this place and want to go back again and again and again. Thank you for providing such an incredible experience."
