"Not from down south. But today we were in the area and thought we would try out the local chip shop. Ordered a beef schnitzel pack, chips and gravy and a single seafood basket. With the schnitzel pack it was literally just cut in half ( near in possible to cut it with a wooden knife) there was only gravy on the schnitzel none at all on any of the chips. Chips and gravy literally had a teaspoon of gravy on a couple the chips. For $18 the seafood basket was over priced for what you get. For the whole total to come to $60 you would pay that in a pub for better quality and quantity for the price."
"Oh my gosh I think this is the best meal I’ve ever had in my entire life. I’m not kidding. It’s that good! 100000% recommend. I get the fish and chips and a pineapple fritter every time and it is consistently to die for. I am so sad that we’re moving away and I won’t be able to have their food anymore. I will remember their fish and chips and pineapple fritter for the rest of my life!!!! I doubt I’ll find anything better than them! I wish y’all all the best! Twisted Chip forever!!"
"Everything you could possibly want out of a fish and chips shop. They do the good and classic and also have fun little inventive things on there like the pineapple fritters. Everything's always good and fresh. The staff are always so friendly and helpful. The prices are also really reasonable. Can't say enough nice things about this spot ."
"Incredibly mediocre chips and schnitzel, also pretty average pricing. Chicken parmi was dry on the outside but soggy where the toppings laid. The cheese was burnt and as a result quite tough not gooey or stringy. The “tomato parmigiana sauce” honestly seemed like a jar of salsa and was super sweet and sparse. As for the chips, orders a small chips and gravy and it’s definitely small. I understand the price to quantity ratio with the shortage of chips but you could definitely get more from other local places and better too. Chips tended to be soggy, tasted very heavily of grease and not much chicken salt. Been a couple times, don’t mind the chips on a stick but the other items aren’t worth going for, would recommend the shack, the pub or even Jimmie’s"
