"Went for the $20 buffet. It’s good value for money, but the food was pretty average and I wouldn’t return. The pork skewers and chicken inasal ran out within 20 minutes and when they refilled the skewers they didn’t even make enough to feed the less than 15 customers they had. The tables were so sticky, and reading past reviews I see this is the norm there. There were primary school students still in their school uniforms clearing the tables and opening doors for customers, which I understand in Asian cultures businesses often use their kids to help out, but these were literally children."
"My review 4/3/23 It has really gone downhill. We used to come here almost every fortnight until the lockdown. When they reopened after the lockdown, I think we ate only a couple of times. After that, we stopped as their business times have been very unreliable. There'll just be announcements of being closed to attend to catering commitments. Lucky that we check FB. It would be a great inconvenience for those who don't check their social media and drive all the way to their location only to find they're closed. Anyway, I was excited to see they were available for buffet again so we went. Very disappointed. Since my review 3yrs ago, the food has been mediocre (to the point that I can cook it better). You could tell that they scrimped on the ingredients, thus the bland taste. Last night though...it was worse. We had to press the bell 2x to get someone to come out. The tables were sticky. I had to give it a wipe down w/ the hand sanitiser that was available, which didn't help (did they use the same rag over and over to wipe the tables?). The taste of the food wasn't impressive. I used to pig out on 3 full plates plus dessert. I only managed 1 and 1/4 plate and I just forced myself to finish it because of "no leftovers" rule. And this was definitely "HALATANG TINIPID" ang ingredients. They majorly scrimped on the ingredients. Understandable the prices of products have gone up. If they want to keep the $20 charge, I guess have to make adjustments with the food's quality. Also, the corner where the condiments are smelled stuffy, water dispenser was empty...I hope they rethink about improving. Unless, they're just not passionate about the restaurant anymore. If that's the case, just close it down so you can concentrate on your catering (I hope the catering/take out orders are of better quality) rather than disappoint customers with announcements that you're closed or when you're open, your food is below par. My review 3yrs ago: Was disappointed that it wasn't as good as when they were in Vic Park. Unsure why the food was not as appealing when it's the same management. Perhaps the location and presentation affected the appeal. Presentation/Visual appeal makes a difference. The menu on the buffet seems less than the selection when they were in Vic Park. Maybe they're still adjusting. Maybe business is still slow because news of their move hasn't spread so they're keeping it conservative. I still recommend and will go back because FILIPINO FOODS! It will improve for sure. But hope management thinks of other strategies to make it work better."
"Will never return Tables sticky. Food horrible. No spoons. Place has gone down hill since leaving Vic Park. There was one highlight to the even though .... when I left"
"Food was delicious and serving was good. Price is reasonable. The staff were courteous and very patient with us."
