These log seats are nestled within a small native oasis, creating a serene environment to take a break and unwind. One standout feature of this reserve is a tree in the south-eastern corner that resembles a Vincent Van Gogh painting. Its striking beauty is further enhanced by the adjacent Spotted Gum tree, which boasts a mesmerizing and intriguing trunk. Don't forget to try and find the "twisted tree" at the northern end, adding an element of mystery to your visit.

While exploring the area, you can head north along the Sturt River Linear Park, a scenic trail that stretches for 700 meters and takes approximately 9 minutes to reach the playground at Appleby Road Reserve. Although there are no toilets at Everest Avenue Reserve, you can conveniently access them with a short walk of 240 meters (approximately 3 minutes) to Hendrie Street Reserve. Alternatively, you can continue your journey along the Sturt River Linear Park to Oaklands Reserve, which is 600 meters away and takes about 8 minutes to reach.
