Feel they should have some of the sides included though as standard. Overall am enjoyable lunch Not sure if it was due to me being slightly unwell, but the food did feel quite heavy afterwards"

"Very hit and miss and a very rude staff member (A senior) not the regular girls, they are friendly. We Ordered $76 of food and drinks and I was given lots of bad attitude when I asked why I was overcharged. The rigmarole to sort it out was crazy and totally unnecessary. It held up other patrons wanting to order. Then because the "special" only included small drinks and not mediums, that they had already made.... She told me she'd have to remake the drinks that were sitting on the counter, so she grabbed the cups (one a cappuccino) and just poured the coffee, which had been sitting on the counter five minutes, into a small takeaway cup... Mixing the chocolate topping into the coffee and thrust the cup forward throwing out the balance of the coffee. I said well that was a waste. She then told me the special was for breakfast only so wasn't going to refund me the difference. It was 1.30pm and the blackboard special didn't mention breakfast! A lady behind me even said to her "it doesn't say breakfast only" and I agreed. So she got a junior staff to wipe the blackboard clean. She then proceeded to refund my entire order and redo it through the till to figure out what she owed me back. It took almost 15 minutes to sort it out. All our drinks were cold. Then our food arrived and it was underwhelming too .. eggs Benedict toast was like rock and we couldn't cut through it.... And this is the steak burger with "beer battered fries" !! it didn't have the caramelized onions it was supposed to have either. My friend said the steak even smelt "off" A very disappointing experience. We thought it might be nice to go there because it's a nice looking cafe, but Do yourself a favour and visit The deli instead, they have have great food and fabulous roast beef rolls for half the price."
