"What a fantastic place, this had everything. The beds were comfortable, shower was great, the tranquillity was awesome. The location is so close to wineries also. The owner was fantastic as well and we had a beautiful bottle of Shiraz and warm homemade bread as soon as we got there."

"Lost...and found...in the Vines What a wonderful week spent in Mclaren Vale at Tintookie Vineyards, earlier this month. The beautiful property is close to the town of McLaren Vale, so easy access to shops, cafes and restaurants, not to mention all the wineries of the region and their cellar doors. It is easy access to the southern motor way and only 45 mins drive to Adelaide, the beaches are also a short drive away...so an excellent location. The cottage was everything that it promised...and more! We felt at home the minute we stepped inside. The view was breathtaking, the cottage itself was superbly presented with comfortable furnishings and bedding, fully equipped kitchen and generous provisions. There were lots of thoughtful personal touches, that made the stay all that more special. Lulu, our host was extremely welcoming and friendly, nothing was any trouble, and the home baked goodies and generous provisions we were spoilt with was again that extra thoughtful touch we were not expecting....And the estate wine from Tintookie Vineyards | Dowie Doole was excellent!
