"DO NOT go here. Go to Dance Zone or Dance FX instead!! We used to be Stage Shop regulars (for over 10 years), but after a recent fail we will never return. Since the store changed hands, we'd noticed that yes the store was very pretty but it wasn't the same in terms of service and knowledge. Recently we took daughter to get fitted for new style and size of tap shoes, and was incorrectly fitted. When dance teacher saw them, she said they were way to long and wide for my daughter's foot. Shop would not offer refund (despite shoes being brand new and unworn). We're from 500km away so did not want a store credit as we will not be returning. The store tried to say we were happy with fit when we left, but as someone who does not fit shoes I had no idea and had put my trust in (seemingly) professionals, who clearly were incompetent. The store wouldn't return emails in a timely manner (taking weeks to respond) and said the 'policy on receipt precluded shoe returns'. However, this is incorrect as it only refers to pointe shoes. We will never return and are making sure to spread the word so others do not get stung like we did!!"
"The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, the price of the product I bought was great. They don't have a huge variation of dance tights, which is what I was after, so I recommend checking other dance stores if you want a large range of dance tights. Apart from that, I had an amazing experience!"
"Absolutely amazing!!! The girl in there was alone and managed to take care of FOUR SETS OF CUSTOMERS and keep us all happy. Extremely sweet, helpful and non intimidating place and staff ever! I HIGHLY recommend!"
