About the Business
Welcome to Western Diagnostic Pathology, located at East Victoria Park, Albany Highway, 779 in Australia. Our institution is a trusted and reliable provider of healthcare services, specializing in pathology testing.
To ensure continuity of care, we recommend visiting your General Practitioner to obtain a Pathology Referral before visiting us. With this referral, you can conveniently visit any of our COVID-19 Collection Sites for a Flu and COVID-19 test. We understand the importance of thorough testing, especially during these challenging times.
One of the advanced testing options we offer is Generation 46 non-invasive prenatal testing (NIPT). This screening involves a simple blood test that examines all 46 chromosomes (pairs 1-22, X and Y) for any chromosomal abnormalities that may impact the future health of your baby. Our specialist genomic testing laboratory, Genomic Diagnostics, is dedicated to providing accurate and reliable results for this testing. For more detailed information, please visit our website.
At Western Diagnostic Pathology, we accept all pathology request forms provided by your healthcare provider. Whether you need a routine test or a specialized one, we are here to assist you.
If you have questions regarding appointments, fasting requirements, or if the test is for your child, we recommend checking with your healthcare provider for any specific instructions. Some tests may require preparation in advance, and it is essential to be aware of these requirements before choosing a location for testing.
Once your test is completed, in most cases, you will need to return to your healthcare provider to obtain your results. Our dedicated team is committed to providing accurate and timely results to ensure proper diagnosis and treatment.
At Western Diagnostic Pathology, we prioritize your health and well-being. With our state-of-the-art facilities, experienced professionals, and a wide range of testing options, you can trust us to deliver exceptional healthcare services. Contact us today or visit our website for more information.

"This was the 4th pathology, I tried around perth cbd to get some different bloods taken in 1 day, the ladies on went over and beyond to help me out with information and where I could get these bloods taken. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for going that little bit further then your competitors. A real stand out for me!"
"I did the blood test about 2 weeks ago, and they just mess it up, put my name incorrectly which made my results disappeared. It took me an hour to call here and GP, then track my result and get it back... Think twice before you choose Park Medical GP and here to do your blood test, because it will cost your more time and they do not even feel sorry for that!"
"Lost my blood samples. Have no record of me ever going. Don't recommend."
"Waited 13 days for results and was then notified that they'd lost my sample and I'd have to go back"
"Worst experience at a clinic ever. They breached confidentiality, did not adhere to hygiene and failed to make the collection. I would avoid this pathology centre at all costs! Read below for details. I was seen by a Phlebotomist who was a lady in her perhaps early 50s with blonde hair and glasses. - First issue. During my consult, another Phlebotomist walked in and started discussing in detail the pathology request of the gentleman who had been after me. I had seen this man, and I could see his pathology request and hear them talking clearly! This was completed right in front of me, and totally breaches confidentiality! - Second issue - after the first failed retrieval she took of one glove because she said she "couldn't work with them on". One handed, she put on some more santiser whilst holding the collection syringe. I've worked in a hospital and this breaches the five points of hand hygiene and isn't how you sanitise! - Third issue: she failed to collect blood after two tries. I know they're going to say something like; sometimes people have bad veins, or collection isn't straight forward. I can assure you, I am as healthy as a horse. I always make sure I am well hydrated before collection and I have never once had a Phlebotomists fail to make a collection. Based on everything else I am pretty sure this was due to a poor practitioner! I hope this lady gets more training. Or takes a holiday! I think she was meant to be the senior Phlebotomist there which is quite disturbing if she is training others!"
