Motivation Civil and Mining Academy

Welcome to Motivation Civil and Mining Academy, a not-for-profit institution located in West Swan, Australia. Situated at 52 Harrow Street, our academy is an establishment, point of interest, and school dedicated to educating and developing life and employability skills for school students enrolled in Year 11, 12, or equivalents, from diverse backgrounds.

At Motivation Civil and Mining Academy, our primary goal is to provide students with the opportunity to achieve nationally recognized certifications in Civil Construction and Resources and Infrastructure Work Preparation. Through our on-site training and workplace experience programs, we empower high school students to gain valuable skills and knowledge while still in their academic years.

Our institution takes pride in its commitment to bridging the gap between education and the real world. The Motivation Foundation, which oversees the academy, focuses on supporting the skills required by the community while simultaneously meeting the needs of students and their families. By doing so, we aim to alleviate poverty and advance education in our society.

We are thrilled to introduce Debbie, our first work placement student at the Motivation Foundation. Debbie is a proud Aboriginal woman hailing from the Wagyl Kaip region of Western Australia, specifically the Great Southern area. Her presence at our academy exemplifies our dedication to inclusivity and providing opportunities for individuals from diverse backgrounds.

In exciting news, the Motivation Foundation and Youth Futures have been selected as finalists in the Youth Affairs Council of Western Australia 2022 awards. This recognition further highlights our commitment to empowering young individuals and making a positive impact in their lives.

We would like to express our gratitude to Bob Gavranich from Mineral Resources Limited for his recent site visit to our West Swan location. His support and sharing of industry insights contribute to our mission of offering relevant and practical training experiences to our students.
