"We have been here a couple of times and have purchased a couple of pieces. However, after the third visit we won’t be returning due to the condescending attitude of the owner. As we left, he asked if we were looking for anything and we just said we were just looking to which he replied “Yeah, that’s all you do, is look” Considering we had bought things on our first visit it’s a pretty poor response. With that sort of customer service you’re not going to get many repeat customers. With regard to your reply, actually there is such a person and I'm guessing its you. This is definitely not spam. Just because it's not a positive review doesn't mean its not true."
"I went here today. I love looking through second hand shops and buying things from my childhood. This shop certainly has a lot of quality product. I have purchased some furniture and trinkets in the past but I think it has changed hands and is under new management now. Though I cant be certain. But my experience was not good and I will never go back for two reasons: firstly, the items are mostly in good condition, not all pristine, but acceptable. The prices however are stratospheric. The highest I have ever seen - one product in particular typically goes for about $120 depending on condition, their price was $450... which is patently absurd given its condition. I have one at home and it looks as good as the day my father bought it back in the early 60's. The few pristine items that were there were eye wateringly expensive. I feel I can say this because I am an avid collector of all things vintage. Money is not the issue, but value is. You will get no value for your money here, so it is to be avoided in my opinion. Secondly, the person who served me, who I assume is the owner based on how he spoke, was not very friendly and he especially turned nasty when I asked if he bought second hand gear. His demeanor changed immediately to one of arrogance and superiority. Worse than a car salesman. It was as if I had asked for his firstborn. It was just a casual question, it was not even the reason I went into his store. Almost immediately after telling me he was not interested, because he only purchased 60's stuff, I told him that's what I actually had. He then asked for specifics and before I had finished my sentence, he snapped and said again he was not interested in a most condescending manner. So I said thankyou, have a nice day and I left... I have had businesses in the past myself and its always a bad idea to talk down to your customers. I can only imagine what the after sales service must be like given his service prior to a purchase."
"One of my favourite stores in Perth. Such a great selection of exceptionally curated mid century pieces. Friendly staff and great service. Highly recommend this store for serious collectors."
"The best place in Perth to buy antique, mid-century and art deco furniture. All at very fair prices, too. The gentlemen who work here are incredibly helpful and kind. Sometimes visit with a coffee in hand just to have a browse and a good chat!"
"Good stock, nice pieces, friendly and knowledgeable staff, thanks guys."
