For medical emergencies, we also provide walk-in appointments.

We pride ourselves on being at the forefront of medical technology, and as the home of SmartVax, we utilize SMS and smartphone technology to actively monitor the vaccine safety of our patients. Our comprehensive immunization service covers all vaccines on the National Immunization Program (NIP), including COVID-19, flu, and travel immunizations.

To further support your health journey, we offer appointments with an Accredited Practising Dietitian every Tuesday. Whether you have dietary-related concerns or questions, our dietitian is here to provide expert guidance.

Our dermatology services are extensive, encompassing skin cancer checks, mole screening, and general screenings. Dr Dhruva Ramachandran conducts skin cancer and skin checks every Tuesday morning.

Illawarra Health Centre is committed to providing Medicare-funded health assessments for individuals aged 45-49 years old, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, and those aged over 75 years.

To enhance our service, we have recently introduced a pre-screening questionnaire for appointments. While entirely optional, completing the questionnaire allows your doctor to have a better understanding of your medical concerns prior to your appointment, optimizing your face-to-face time with your GP.

In light of the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we prioritize the safety of our patients and staff. If you have been advised to isolate or have tested positive for COVID-19, we kindly request that you do not attend the practice. Instead, please inform our reception so that we can arrange a telephone consultation and assist you accordingly.

For your convenience, we offer Telehealth consultations for select appointments. However, if an in-person consultation is necessary, we have implemented additional safety measures, including the continued wearing of masks for those with respiratory illnesses. Mask wearing is optional for all other patients. Depending on the situation, individuals with respiratory illnesses may also be asked to undergo a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT).
